Mauro Pizzigati
60 years old - Chairman
A law graduate (1970) from the University of Padua, Pizzigati is an Economics professor at the University of Venice, a lawyer authorised to practise even at the Senior Magistracy level and head of professional studios in Mestre and Venice. Since 2002 he has been Chairman of the Venetian Lawyers’ District Order Committee. He is also Consultant to the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Authorities and Chairman of numerous professional Commissions. In his position as member of the Vietti Commission, he also played an active role in the background work to company law reforms. A town councillor from 1993 to 1999 and candidate for the Mayor of Venice in 1997, Pizzigati is extremely active in the social sphere and has promoted numerous initiatives, many at a national level. Thanks to his particular interest in sport, he was an athlete in his youth, he has also represented various sports associations, including acting as Chairman of the A.C. Venezia 1907 football club. Pizzigatti has been Chairman of the Casinò di Venezia Board of Directors since September 2005.

Carlo Pagan
45 years old – Director and COO
A law graduate with a Cuoa master in company management (MBA), and executive MBA SDA Bocconi, Pagan has acted as CEO for SIME UK and SIME China; COO for the Brandt-Moulinex Group Italia, and Division COO for SIME. He has also worked for a number of top industrial companies, in the following roles: Area Manager (De Longhi), Marketing Manager (Stock, Electrolux-Zanussi), International Marketing Director (Merloni international trading – Indesit Company), Business Development Director (Indesit Company - East Europe and Russia). Pagan has been a member of the Casinò Municipale di Venezia Spa Board of Directors since September 2005, and was named COO in May 2006.

Alessandro Danesin
44 years old – Director
A Business and Economics graduate from the Ca’ Foscari Universtity of Venice, Danesin has been enrolled in the register of Venetian accountants since 1991, is enrolled in the register of auditors, and is also head of a professional studio with branches in Venice, Mestre, the Venice Lido and Padua. He has sat on the Board of Auditors and the Board of Directors for a number of companies in various sectors and was a European member of Parliament from 1994 to 1999. Danesin has been a member of the Casinò Municipale di Venezia Spa Board of Directors since September 2005. He is also CEO of Marco Polo Srl.

Teresa Morelli
34 years old - Director
A Political Science graduate from the University of Padua with a Master (SDA Bocconi) in Public Management, since 2000 Morelli has held a number of management positions with the Veneto Regional Authorities. She is one of the managers of the Veneto Regional Authorities’ Safety and Quality Project and previously filled various managerial posts for the Veneto Regional Health Service. She has been a member of the Veneto Regional Authorities’ Equal Opportunities Committee and the Regional Authorities’ Common Purchasing Strategy Committee. Morelli has been a member of the Casinò Municipale di Venezia Spa Board of Directors since September 2005. She is also the sole director of Ranch Srl.

Paolo Seno
49 years old - Director
A law graduate from the University of Bologna and enrolled in the register of Venetian Lawyers since 1994, Seno has frequented numerous local and international refresher and specialization courses in his professional sphere. He acts as consultant to the Venice Municipal Authorities and has sat on the Board of Directors of various top private and public companies. Chairman and CEO of Vela SpA and Chairman of Ecotema Srl; he has also spoken at numerous national and international conferences on the application and use of SMART CARDs. Seno has been a member of the Casinò Municipale di Venezia Spa Board of Directors since September 2005.
